If you don't have Photo
software on your computer:
1. Put your diskette into your 'A' drive.
2. Click on Start - Programs - Windows Explorer.
3. Click on the 'A' at the top of the screen, to bring up the files on your disk on the right side of your screen.
4. The picture files on your diskette will have a .jpg extension on them.
6. Double-click each picture and it will open into your Internet Explorer browser.

1. In Windows Explorer, click on the file you don't want and hit DELETE.
2. If you want to delete all the files on the disk, hold down SHIFT and click the first file and the last file. Then hit DELETE.

1. You will need to use a program such as Microsoft Photo Editor or PhotoDraw, PhotoShop, or Fireworks.
2. Click on File - Open and locate your picture on your diskette in 'A'.
3. Double-click the picture file to open it.
4. Use the 'box' tool to click and drag to select the part of the picture you want.
5. Click on Image - Crop and then File - Save As to the correct folder either on your harddrive, your network directory or a disk.
6. To resize your picture, select it, go to Image - Resize - change the Inches to Pixels, type in the number of pixels you want for the width (350 is a good size), the height will change automatically, and then click OK.
7. You can also enhance (intensify, lighten, etc.) your picture here.

1. Go to File - Insert a Picture from File.
2. Click on the picture to select it and the Picture Toolbar should pop up. Click on the 'little dog' and select Tight - this gives your picture 'handles', which allows you free movement.
3. If you want to put a frame around your picture, right-click on the picture, and choose Borders and Shading.
4. Choose a border type on the left, and then choose the color, style, width of the border and click OK.
5. To resize the picture, click on the frame to highlight it, place your cursor at the corner of the picture, and when you get the double-ended arrow, click and drag the frame to the size you want it.
6. To move the picture, click on the edge of the frame, and click and drag to move it from top to bottom, or side to side.

1. Click on Import a Picture - choose the 'A' drive where your diskette is located.
2. At the bottom of the screen, under File Types, click on the down arrow to choose .JPG.
3. You have several choices on the left of how to import the picture - click on one.
4. Double-click the picture to insert it in the KP slide.
5. The picture will have handles, so that you can resize it or move it around the screen.
6. To paste the picture, just click on the Tool Bar.
7. Click Save a Picture.

1. Click Insert - Picture from file.
2. Go to the 'A' drive and double-click the picture you want from the disk.
3. When your picture is 'selected', you can move it around the slide or resize it.
Movies:
You cannot import a Sony digital movie file into a Kid Pix Slide.
To import a movie into Power Point, choose the template showing an "Action" movie symbol, double-click in the box, go to your 'A' drive and double-click the movie (The extension will be Mvc). You can resize the movie by pulling on the corners, but be careful that you don't distort it!
