student to personalize. Check out My Valentine's Day at School. Students plug
in their personal information and then the story can be read or printed! |
The Mental Edge is a comprehensive set of reviews that cover all subjects from grades 3-12. These reviews match day to day activities and help students remember and retain material they will be tested on. Many language arts objectives can be reviewed here. |

The Learning PlanetThe Learning Planet has more crossword puzzles created for 1-3 or 4-6! Check out the antonyms and synonyms puzzle! The Little House in Big Woods is an example of how you can apply literature vocabulary and create your own customized puzzle at the Internet Coach of puzzlemaker.com. |

Several teachers attended the session entitled, My One Computer, and came away with ideas to implement in their classroom curriculum. Gail Land's fifth graders at Vickery Creek, cycled through
her one workstation to complete a spelling activity with homophones. Two students
were paired for this activity that also integrated the skill of sorting in Microsoft Word
95 Janet McDaniel's first graders at Midway cycled through her
two workstations completing a grammar activity in KidPix. They utilized the
transparent oval tool to circle the correct verb for subject-verb agreement. |

To Excel is Elementary Create your own interactive
worksheet in Excel using If-Then formulas! This is an example of what students see
as they type in the correct plural in column B. To learn how to do this go to Tammy
Peytons site on Self
Check Skill Sheets or attend the Excel sessions on the following dates: Two If-Then templates are stored in the Excel folder in the student share drive for examples. More will be created by teachers next month! |
