Teacher Spotlight

Lynn Bump, a two/three teacher at Midway, has guided her class and others at Midway in participating in the Earth Day Grocery Project for second year in a row. Students from grades K-5 decorated over 1,000 bags from two local grocery stores. These bags were used by customers during Earth Week to inform the public of the importance of taking care of our earth. Students decorated the bags with pictures and with rules they felt everyone should follow in order to properly do their part in protecting and preserving the Earth. You can view their finished product at the 1999 Earth Day Grocery Project.
Way to go Lynn Bump!
