Teachers Engaged @ Midway is an opportunity to share how teachers are engaging students in quality work. There are so many exciting things happening in the classrooms and students are working on the work!

Mr. Collins' fifth graders have been learning about the human body with and interactive Power Point created by Mr. Collins. They are currently collaborating and creating their own Power Points. Exploring the Systems of the Human Body

Mrs. Flack's fifth grade students have been learning how to order in a restaurant, make reservations, ask for the check, etc. They are using the Promethean Board to fill in captions in their Ramón stories. Scroll to the bottom of this link and take a look!
Mrs. Gresser's third grade ESOL students are working on persuasive paragraphs using a robot. She will be sharing more about this unique little robot.

Increasing and decreasing font size in Microsoft Office Applications
Highlight a word in your document. Press and hold the ctrl key and then press the right ] key several times to to enlarge your text. Keep pressing to go larger or press and hold ctrl + [ key to decrease the text size. This is great to view how you want your text to display right inside your document.
 
 
 Web Image
We are now able to right click to save an image on the web when working on an XP machine at work. Right click on the image to save the file to an appropriate folder. Let me know of images we may need for clubs or activities.
