WELCOME BACK!
The summer of 2005 was short but what a welcome sight to see the new interactive whiteboards mounted in every classroom along with projectors and a sound system. Teaching and learning will never be the same. To get a jumpstart, a one hour orientation will take place during preplanning. Sessions will be limited to a maximum of 12 teachers to allow hands on activities. Promethean will be offering more intense training in September.

What will you learn:

  • how to hook up laptop
  • board do's and don'ts
  • using the projector and remote
  • using vcr and tv with the board
  • using the pen and basic toolbar
  • ideas for flipcharts
  • how to use other software applications with the board
